APPLICATIONS AND IMPLICATIONS
• What is going to do?
The goal is to create a sunglasses that can help to the blind people, as an additional tool for their moving. This device would not replace the blind stick, because people use to feel the ground and calculate the distance to some obstruction. This device would be as a complement in order to their safety and free moving by themselves. The sunglasses can detect obstacles at the height of the face and send alert in function to the proximity of the hazard. The distance to detect an object is 0,8 meters.
• Who did it before?
A lot of countries are developing this kind sunglasses with a different technology, those are focused to send alerts through earphones. The design of my sunglasses is destined to change the way of alert transmission because use earphones all the time can be harmful to health and uncomfortable
• What materials and components will be required?
For electronic design:
-ATtiny44A
-Ultrasonic Sensor
-Vibrator
-Capacity 1 uF
-Resistor de 10k
-Resonator de 20MHz
